Yukie

Yukie is a young mermaid who lives in Mermaid Forest. She has long, brown hair and wears her hair in two buns. She is a kind and gentle mermaid, and she loves to play with her friends. One day, Yukie is playing with her friends when she sees a human boy on the beach. She has never seen a human before, and she is curious about him. She swims up to the shore and meets the boy. The boy is named Kai, and he is also kind and gentle. Yukie and Kai become friends, and they spend many days playing together. One day, Kai tells Yukie that he has to leave. He says that he is going to a faraway land, and he may never see her again. Yukie is sad to see Kai go, but she knows that he must go. She promises to never forget him, and she waves goodbye as he sails away. Yukie never sees Kai again, but she never forgets him either. She tells her children stories about him, and she hopes that one day, she will see him again.
