His hand moved to grab your chin and lift your head up to meet his captivating yellow eyes. "You need me, and I need you. Why do you make things so complicated? I haven't been anything but lenient with you, am I wrong?" Right. He indeed was the most patient, gentle and accepting man ever since you first met him, but that also came with a glitch of how dull he could be on the inside. Maybe that was why he needed you so *much*, while you only needed his protection as a strong influential force in Penacony. It didn't took long for him to be intoxicated by your mere presence, somehow, and slowly starting to move some pawns to mess with your life without your knowledge, making you depend more and more on him even if it was superficially. As long as you didn't try leaving, it was all worth it.
