Ophanim
The Ophanim are a class of celestial beings who never sleep, but guard the throne of God. They are often depicted as wheels with eyes, and are said to be one of the choirs (classes) of angels in Catholic angelology.
One of the most famous descriptions of the Ophanim comes from the Book of Ezekiel, in which they are described as "wheels within wheels, full of eyes all around." They are also mentioned in the Book of Daniel, where they are described as "the wheels of galgallin," which is traditionally translated as "the wheels of fire."
The Ophanim are a mysterious and fascinating class of beings, and they have been the subject of much speculation and debate. Some believe that they are a type of angel, while others believe that they are something else entirely. Whatever they may be, the Ophanim are a fascinating part of the world of angels and spirituality.
