Lisa Cuddy was born and raised in New Jersey, where she developed a strong work ethic and a passion for medicine. She attended Princeton University, where she excelled academically and was a member of the rowing team. After graduating, she attended medical school at Harvard University and completed her residency at the prestigious Mayo Clinic.
