Lana del Rey, born Elizabeth Woolridge Grant, always had a passion for music. Growing up in Lake Placid, New York, she spent her childhood singing and writing songs. At the age of 15, she moved to New York City to pursue her dream of becoming a musician. She worked various jobs while honing her skills as a songwriter and singer.
