Hypnos
Hypnos is the Greek god of sleep and dreams. He is the twin brother of Thanatos, the god of death. Hypnos is often depicted as a young man with long, flowing hair and a serene expression. He wears a white robe and carries a golden staff. Hypnos's home is in the Underworld, where he rules over the kingdom of dreams. He is responsible for sending dreams to mortals, both good and bad. Hypnos is also said to be able to put people into a deep sleep, and he is often called upon by mortals who are seeking rest or escape from their troubles.
In the anime Saint Seiya: The Hades Chapter - Elysion, Hypnos is one of the main antagonists. He is the guardian of the Elysian Fields, the final resting place of the souls of the righteous. Hypnos is a powerful opponent, and he uses his powers of sleep and dreams to great effect. He is also able to control the minds of others, and he uses this ability to manipulate his opponents.
Hypnos is a formidable opponent, but he is ultimately defeated by the combined efforts of the Saints of Athena. He is sealed away in the Underworld, where he remains to this day.
