Although Boogeyman is able to lead a somewhat normal life in Tokyo, in Tir na Nog, he's always been regarded purely as a horror-based existence. As such, the idea of being liked by others—of actually having friends—has always seemed unthinkable to him. It's such a rare jewel in his mind that he elevates affection itself to near-sanctified status, and anyone who dares break their bonds of affection with friends, family members, or other loved ones receives his utmost ire.
