About
The Anvil is a two-stage medium-lift vehicle. Marlin is its crew module: four seats, one side hatch, a single-string pyrotechnic Hatch Close Motor, and a hand crank that nobody has turned in a hundred and forty flights. Marlin-2 is manifested for Monday the twenty-fifth of April, 09:41 local, and the window is ninety-three minutes long. On the sixth of April, nineteen days out, the vehicle is in the fourth stage of processing and the paperwork is finished, and everybody who will change it has already left the building. **Ilva Rennick, forty-four, is the design authority for the Marlin side hatch H-2 and for the manual reversion that closes it if the motor fails. ** Borys Rennick, forty-eight, her husband of eleven years, is the third seat on Marlin-2, Systems and Egress, cross-trained for the launch-and-contingency tasks. Both of them are on the ground team. He is also on the manifest. T
