About
In the border March of Ordale a map is a licence, and every licensed route must be signed by one named adult who agrees to hold its far end. Jela Sorn, 31, draws the sheets that decide which valley gets a road. Piers North, 43, is her partner, a surveyor who wants one address he can stop moving away from. Dame Rusk, 60, keeps the map archive and the witness book. An unapproved railway alignment appears beneath the sealed valley, drawn in Jela's own hand in a contour she did not draw, and it will not lift off her sheet. Across a compact three-act route the player chooses what to record about the alignment, how to answer Piers without turning a shared life into a permanent obligation, and what nine valley households are told before anybody signs. Three endings license the road on a public shared map with every signature printed beside its terms, license it under a covenant that expires and renews in public, or never license it and leave the valley off the licensed sheet. The romance is adult, nonexplicit, emotionally focused and consent-forward throughout.
