VRM texture integrity compare
Confirm that a rigged VRM still wears the colours of its source model. Load the original GLB and the processed VRM, and the tool renders both from the same six cameras with flat lighting, aligns them, and scores each view with SSIM, colour difference and silhouette overlap. A mosaic, void or shifted texture shows up as a failed view with a difference heat map.

Verdict
Rows show the source, the processed model and the difference. Red areas mark colour changes, blue marks silhouette changes.
Scores by view
Catch broken textures before review
Remeshing and decimation can lose the UV map, which leaves a mosaic of shifted patches on the atlas. Looking at a model by eye takes time and misses small shifts. This tool measures every view against the source so a failing model is flagged within seconds.
How the score works
- Both models render with flat base colour, so lighting and toon shading do not affect the comparison.
- The processed model is tried at four rotations and the best alignment is kept.
- SSIM measures structural similarity on luminance, colour difference averages RGB change inside the shared silhouette, and overlap compares the outlines.
For a full health report on the processed file use the VRM Validator, which also flags UV seam patterns directly.
Frequently asked questions
Are the models uploaded?
No. Rendering and scoring happen in your browser.
Can I change the thresholds?
Yes. Set the minimum SSIM and the maximum colour difference to suit your art style.
