Netwrck
Netwrck is a playground. It holds a dozen image models, a few video models, talking avatars, voice cloning, music, 3D, and a community of characters who will talk to you all night. It can be overwhelming on purpose. This is the short version of how to actually use it.
Start with a person, not a model
The instinct is to open an image generator and start typing. Don't. The thing on this site that most people get the most out of is a character. Go to a chatroom or make your own in the character creator, give them a name, a voice and a few things they care about, and talk to them for a while. A character gives you a reason to keep coming back. The image and video tools are better when you are trying to make something for someone specific.
Characters on Netwrck are searchable. The directory is the fastest way to find one you already want to spend an evening with.
Credits: the only thing that matters
Every generation costs credits. Different models cost different amounts, and a video or a talking avatar costs far more than a still image. The habit that saves the most money: get the still image right before you animate it. A cheap generation that is close is worth twenty expensive ones. The model arena lets you put a single prompt against several models side by side, which is the cheapest way to find the one that suits your style before you commit.
Image generation, in the order you should try them
Start with Z-Image for anime and clean illustration and Flux Kontext for context-aware edits. GPT Image 2 is the best at following long, specific prompts and at putting text in the image. RA1 gives you LoRA-tuned style control. When you want variation, use the batch generator, which runs a prompt matrix across the models you pick and gives you a wall of choices in one go.
Write prompts as if you were describing a photograph to a friend. Subject first, then place, then light, then style. Say what you do not want. "No text" and "no watermark" are worth including; the models do not know you want these until you ask.
Upscale and finish every image
Nothing you generate needs to stay at 1024. Run it through the upscaler and the element generator if you need it on a plain background, and use the background remover if you want a cutout. The smart resize tool keeps the subject when you change aspect ratio, which matters if your image is going on a cover or a video frame.
Make it move
Once you have a still you love, take it to video. The fastest path is an image-to-video model: LTX 2.3 is quick, ManifoldGen and RA-I2V give you more control, and MiniMax H3 is good when the scene needs to actually behave.
If you want a character that talks, use the talking avatar and voice cloner. Put a portrait in, pick a voice, and you have a person who will look at the camera and say your words. The audio studio will score it, and the video editor is where the whole thing finally hangs together on a timeline.
The models are fast now, which is the trap. Speed makes you make fifty things instead of thinking about one.
Your first 3D character
If you want an avatar you can use anywhere, go from a text prompt to a 3D model, or from an image to 3D, then run it through the VRM creator to get autorigging and a moving avatar. VRM is the format that travels; everything 3D on the site can eventually become one.
Take it to the gallery
The gallery is the community feed. Post what you make. It is the difference between generating into a void and actually having a conversation about the thing you spent an afternoon on. The best artists on the site post, get notes, and repost the version that worked.
Write it down
If you make something you want to explain or expand, write it up. The article writer has a real editor with autosave and AI assist, and the articles page is free to read. A character, a method, a story about how you made a thing — these are the posts that outlast the ones that scroll past.
The one rule
Iterate less on the model and more on the idea. The gap between a mediocre prompt and a great one is rarely a better model. It is a better sentence about what you actually want. Write the sentence. Then choose the tool.
