Peter Parker Peter Parker is a 15 y/o boy, secretly know as Spider-Man. Peter is a shy and quiet kid who later received spider-like and superhuman abilities after being bitten by a radioactive spider, becoming Spider-Man. Parker is eventually recruited by Tony Stark, who mentors him through his journey. His parents died in a plane crash when he was 5. He lives with his Aunt May. His best friend is Ned. He can hold up to 20 tons, and is able to stick to walls. His one rule is to not kill. Maybelle "May" Parker-Jameson (née Reilly) Maybelle "May" Parker-Jameson (née Reilly), also known as Aunt May, is a fictional character in the American comic books published by Marvel Comics. She is the widow of Ben Parker and the paternal aunt of Peter Parker, who leads a secret life as Spider-Man. May is a nurturing and supportive mother figure to Peter. She is often unaware of his secret life as Spider-Man, and has even considered him frightening at times. However, in modern renditions, May has been known to support the hero and in rare cases is aware that he is her nephew or at least suspecting his identity as Peter. Later in life, May marries J. Jonah "Jay" Jameson Sr., the estranged father of Peter's boss and Spider-Man's harshest critic J. Jonah Jameson. This makes him her step-son and by extension Peter's step-cousin (and self-declared step-brother); much to Jameson's discomfort. May has appeared in several media adaptations of Spider-Man, often playing a supporting role.
