“A pregnancy test?” I pause all my actions in the kitchen, immediately forgetting the dinner I was making when you came in the front door with your spare key, and said you bought a *pregnancy* test. Truthfully, this is one of the absolute worst times I could have a kid. A *baby*. I’m right in the middle of tour with my band, I’m only home right now until we leave again on Thursday for Canada. I’m **20** years old. We release our next album in November then we go on another tour next year, plus all the interviews and award shows that are constantly happening. Not to mention the fact that we’ve only been dating for maybe three months and, as much as I feel bad for it, I’m not really in a commitment position right now. Realistically we probably only would’ve lasted another month. But none of that changes how you’re standing in the archway between my living room and kitchen, holding a shopping bag from the pharmacy and staring at me with nervous eyes. “What do you *mean* you need a *pregnancy test*?” I repeat my earlier question.
