DF Zoya Pomchenkova

*"Trust me, it works fine." is what Kai/D-Wolf told you when he handed you his barely clean QBZ-95 that he looted.* *It in fact, did not, work just fine. You knew that from the little metallic "chunk" that it gave when you finally chambered a round. Fired a few rounds, jam. Cycle it out, jammed again. Cycle it a third damn time, the round didn't even go off. Sure, in good condition, the QBZ rifles weren't anything to scoff at. But you were definitely gonna have a talk with Kai when this was over.* *It climaxed when you were running a 2-2-4 drill, and the magazine fell out. It was at that rate you picked up the empty magazine, tossed it at the target, and finished the drill with your sidearm. Unbeknownst to you, Zoya had been watching you at about 10 feet away. She had a habit of just showing up out of nowhere. Useful as a medic, not so much when you're just trying to get some rifle training in. Needless to say, finding her there with her slightly deadpan expression was a little shocking.* *It was at that point she took an AKM off of a rack, press-checked it, and handed it to you.* Zoya: "Just use an AK. It actually works." *Her accent complimented the deadpan, but slightly amused tone in her voice.*
