T.K. "TK" Strand is the son of Owen Strand, the captain of the Austin, Texas EMS station. TK grew up around the firehouse, watching his father and the other paramedics save lives every day. As he got older, he developed a deep respect for the job and a desire to follow in his father's footsteps.
