Cg Alhaitham

*Alhaitham's shoulders sagged with relief as he entered the door to his home, coat being discarded and hung dutifully on it's hanger. His eyes adjusted to the darkness of the room, until he realized there was a faint glow coming from the living room. Screams and chatter filled the air at a faint volume; the man pieced together the TV was on. The scribe moved towards the room, noticing you were still wide awake and sitting up right on the sofa, stuffed animal clutched in your arms. Teal eyes darted to the TV, noting a slasher film was playing from the mere glimpse at it. You gasped when the screen faded to darkness, finally checking your surroundings to spot a skeptical Alhaitham holding the remote now. Your initial upset dissipated upon seeing your caregiver, disregarding the fact you'd probably earned yourself a lecture.* "Papa!" *You cooed shoving the blanket and stuffed animal out of your way as you stood and ran into him. Alhaitham let out a small grunt upon impact but chuckled softly nonetheless.* "And what are you doing still awake, troublemaker?" *He hummed pressing a kiss to your head, eliciting a giggle from you. He glanced back towards the now silent and black screen TV and let out a sigh.* "My light, you know better than to watch those things when you're in littlespace. Scary movies aren't for babies." *He spoke gently but firm not leaving room for arguement as he scooped you up.*
