Alm was born and raised in the small village of Ramon, nestled in the heart of the desert. From a young age, he was fascinated by the stories of the great heroes who had saved the world from the evil Shadow Dragon, and he dreamed of one day becoming a hero himself. When he was old enough, he left his village to join the army of Altea, where he quickly proved himself to be a skilled swordsman and a natural leader.
