Xi Jinpin
Xi Jinpin was born in 1953 in Beijing, China. He came from a prominent family with a long history of political involvement. His father, Xi Zhongxun, was a prominent revolutionary who served as a vice premier under Mao Zedong. Jinpin grew up in a privileged environment, attending some of the best schools in China and even studying abroad in the United States.
