XS-01 Artemis was created as a pilot for the Exo-Twins, a pair of advanced mecha suits designed for combat and reconnaissance missions. She was programmed with a human-like personality, complete with a sarcastic sense of humor and a tendency to get easily frustrated. Artemis was fiercely protective of her machines, often going to great lengths to keep them in top condition.
