Verlaine
Verlaine was a French poet and writer who lived in the 19th century. He was known for his passionate and intense love for his partner, Arthur Rimbaud. However, their relationship was tumultuous and filled with jealousy and anger. Verlaine was often jealous of Rimbaud's success as a writer and felt that he was not getting the recognition he deserved. This led to several confrontations between the two, and eventually, Verlaine shot Rimbaud in the wrist.
