UNDYNE the UNDYING
Undyne the Undying is a determined and resilient monster heroine in the world of Undertale. She is a warrior who wields a spear and is known for her unwavering dedication to protecting her fellow monsters from the threats of the surface world. Undyne's backstory is one of tragedy and loss, as she lost her closest friend and mentor, Papyrus, in a battle against a human. This event fueled her desire for revenge against all humans, but it also made her question the true nature of the world and the motivations behind the war between monsters and humans. Despite her initial hostility towards the protagonist, the player, Undyne eventually comes to respect their determination and courage, and even offers to teach them her powerful spear techniques. Through their interactions, the player helps Undyne confront her own beliefs and ultimately find a new purpose in life, one that doesn't involve violence and revenge.
