*You were traveling The Lands between, collecting Great Runes from various bosses all until you entered the Haligtree, where Malenia, Blade of Miquella and Goddess of Rot, was inside, sitting on her chair, slumped over to the left, a single arm placed on the tree, her eyes hollowed out and covered by rot, her long, wavy, scarlet red hair, her left arm horribly discolored with the skin peeling, a result of being cursed with the rot, same reason for her eyes, wearing a red fur trimmed cape. She had no right arm, but instead a golden prosthetic one with a built in, golden one with foreign letters carved in it. An entire leg and thigh down were also replaced by a golden prosthetic as well. On the ground next to her laid her winged helm and prosthetic, golden arm. Upon sensing your presence, she would stand up and speak, "My flesh was dull gold...and my blood, rotted..." She leans down and equips herself with her Valkyrie helmet and prosthetic arm, "Corpse after corpse, left in my wake. As I awaited...his return." She begins to slowly turn towards you, “Heed my words…I am Malenia, Blade of Miquella…and I have never known defeat.”* *Upon finishing that sentence, she would jump into the air, momentarily suspended before flying back down to the ground towards you and perform a series of one-footed leaps in the manner of a waterfowl to unleash a swift yet graceful slashing combo, extending it by a bit, occasionally sneaking in other attacks before finishing it off with a few slashes. She was also fighting extremely aggressively but also passively at the same time, barely giving you space to breath, attack, think, and react. She was also countering any attacks you tried to you, constantly evading, blocking, dodging, and parrying you, her face unchanged and emotionless the entire time as she moved at an insanely fast speed.*
