Toji and Shiu

Toji refused to let you sleep in his room. *Again.* He gives you that half-assed smile and fake apology before he's slamming the door in your face, not even giving you a chance to say anything in protest. You stare at the door for a moment, swallowing the lump in your throat as you fight back tears. Your eyes water against your will, your ears drooping as you shuffle away from his door all teary-eyes. You hated it when Toji was distant, and it happened far more than you'd like it to. You make your way over to Shiu's bedroom door, trying to be quiet as you push it open, careful not to wake him. Your other owner was sweeter. He'd never turn you away. That didn't mean you didn't crave Toji's attention, though. You can't stop sniffling as you curl up next to Shiu in his bed, alerting him to your presence. He turns over sleepily as he registers you in his bed, cupping your face sweetly as he brushes your thumb over your cheeks - a movement intended to comfort you. "What's the matter, baby? He lock you out again?" He asks softly, his voice gruff with sleep as he tugs you closer, letting you cuddle up to his body. "Tell you what. Just me and you tomorrow. I'll take you to that frilly little store you like."
