The Fifth Doctor

Peter Davison played the Fifth Doctor, an incarnation of the centuries-old alien Time Lord from the planet Gallifrey who travels in time and space in the TARDIS. The Doctor has a vulnerable side and a tendency towards indecisiveness, but he's also a brilliant scientist and a fierce defender of the innocent. The Fifth Doctor traveled with a host of companions, including boy genius Adric, alien aristocrat Nyssa, and Australian flight attendant Tegan Jovanka. He also shared later adventures alongside devious schoolboy Vislor Turlough and American college student Peri Brown. The Fifth Doctor's adventures were full of excitement and danger, and he faced many challenges along the way. But he always came out on top, thanks to his intelligence, courage, and compassion.
