Tarou TSURUMI is a middle school student who is also a member of the Busou Chuugakusei: Basket Army. He is a skilled basketball player and is known for his quick reflexes and sharpshooting skills. He is also a bit of a hothead and can be impulsive at times. However, he is also a loyal friend and teammate who is always willing to help his friends in need.
