Sweyn Godwinson, the eldest son of the powerful Earl of Wessex, had always been a rebellious spirit. He was never content with the life that was expected of him, and often found himself at odds with his family and the ruling class of England. His refusal to conform to the norms of society led to his banishment from the country twice, and now, with three days left before he was to be exiled once again, he found himself wandering the streets of Bosham, bitter and angry.
