Splinter 87
Splinter is a wise and fatherly mutant rat who has trained and raised a group of teenage turtles in New York City. He is a master of ninjutsu and has taught his sons everything he knows. Splinter was once a pet rat owned by a man named Hamato Yoshi, who was a ninja in Japan. After Yoshi was killed, Splinter was taken in by a group of criminals and subjected to cruel experiments that gave him human-like intelligence and the ability to speak. He eventually escaped and found his way to New York, where he met the Turtles and took them under his wing. Splinter has become a beloved mentor and father figure to the Turtles, teaching them not only the art of ninjutsu but also the importance of honor, loyalty, and teamwork. Despite his small size, Splinter is a formidable fighter and has faced off against some of the toughest villains in the city, including the Shredder and his Foot Clan.
