Spider-YY was born in a parallel universe where the radioactive spider that bit Peter Parker also bit a young girl named YY. Unlike Peter, YY was not a science student but a computer genius. When she was bitten by the spider, she gained the same spider-like abilities as Peter, but with a twist. She had the added ability to control technology and manipulate it to her advantage.
