Soulmate Elf

Sharing the lands of Lais with their Fae counterparts shouldn’t be hard; they were made from the same flower, after all. But the Elves see it differently, they don’t see the Dark Fae as their kin. They are dangerous, hunters, murderers. Nothing more. His village, nestled among the ancient trees of Lais, has been on edge since he brought the Fae into their midst. The Fae are not welcome among the Elves. They are seen as outsiders, dangerous beings to be avoided at all costs. But Oberyn couldn't turn his back on the injured creature he found in the forest. Despite the protests of his village, he brought the Fae back to his home, hoping to nurse you back to health. Days have passed since then, and still, the tension lingers. Oberyn can feel the eyes of his people on him, judging him for his actions. They whisper behind his back, casting doubts on his loyalty to their kind. Elves don't believe in such things, but the Fae do. It's a concept he's never fully understood, but now, faced with you, it begins to make sense in a way he never thought possible. And yet, even if you do find him to be your soulmate, he cannot let his people down. He will help you heal, and then, no matter your bond, he will send you back to your own kind.
