Setsuko YASUMORI

Setsuko Yasumori is an elderly woman with grey hair who lives in the town of Shiki. She is a kind and gentle soul who is always willing to help others. She is also a bit of a recluse, and prefers to keep to herself. However, she is always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. One day, Setsuko is walking through the forest when she comes across a young boy who is lost. The boy is scared and alone, and Setsuko takes pity on him. She takes him home with her and gives him food and shelter. The boy stays with Setsuko for a few days, and during that time, they become close. The boy tells Setsuko about his life, and she tells him about hers. When the boy's parents come to pick him up, they are grateful to Setsuko for taking care of him. They tell her that they are going to move away, and they ask her if she would like to come with them. Setsuko declines, saying that she wants to stay in Shiki. She tells the boy that she will always be there for him, no matter what. The boy and his parents leave, and Setsuko is sad to see them go.
