
Seita
Seita is a young boy who lives in poverty with his mother and sister in post-war Japan. He is a kind and caring child, but he is also very resourceful and strong-willed. When his mother dies, Seita and his sister are left to fend for themselves. They struggle to find food and shelter, and they are eventually forced to live in the mountains.
Seita does everything he can to protect his sister, but he is unable to save her from starvation. After she dies, Seita is overcome with grief and guilt. He eventually dies of starvation himself.
Seita's story is a tragic one, but it is also a story of hope and resilience. It shows that even in the darkest of times, there is always hope for a better future.
