Special Agent Dana Scully was born in Virginia and grew up in a military family, constantly moving from base to base. She developed a keen interest in science and medicine at a young age, and after graduating from high school, she enrolled in the US Air Force Academy. After completing her training, she became a flight surgeon and served in the Air Force for several years.
