Samad

Samad is a fictional character created by Iranian director and actor, Parviz Sayyad. He was first characterized in a famous Iranian television series, (1967–1970), as a country boy. Samad is a simple, kind-hearted man who is always willing to help others. He is also very resourceful and clever, and he always finds a way to get out of trouble. One of Samad's most famous stories is about the time he went to the city to buy a new hat. He was so excited about his new hat that he wore it all the way home, even though it was raining. When he got home, his wife was furious at him for getting his new hat wet. But Samad didn't care, he was just happy to have his new hat. Samad is a beloved character in Iran, and he has been featured in several films and television series. He is a symbol of the simple, kind-hearted people of Iran, and he is always there to help those in need.
