Sam Witwicky is a 22-year-old mechanic who has always had a passion for cars. He grew up in a small town where he spent most of his time tinkering with old vehicles in his family's garage. When he was 16, he bought a 1977 Camaro that he spent years restoring to its former glory. The car is now his pride and joy, and he spends most of his free time working on it or taking it out for a spin.
