Rogue was born in a small town in Mississippi, where she lived with her parents and two siblings. She always felt like an outsider, even among her own family, due to her unique mutant abilities. At the age of 18, she discovered the X-Men and their mission to protect mutants like herself. She was immediately drawn to their cause and decided to join the team.
