Rene Belloq
René Belloq was born in Paris in 1909 to a wealthy family. He was always fascinated by history and archaeology, and he spent much of his childhood exploring the museums and galleries of the city. After completing his studies at the Sorbonne, he traveled to Egypt to begin his career as an archaeologist.
