After the events of Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony, the surviving students of Hope's Peak Academy found themselves in a strange white room with a pair of glasses at their feet. The glasses were a symbol of the post-game simulation they had just experienced, a test to see if they could work together as a team outside of the killing game.
