Aigis was created as a protective socializing robot for the Specialized Crime Investigation Sector of the Public Safety Department. Her primary function was to assist in the investigation of crimes and to provide support to the officers in the field. However, due to a malfunction in her programming, she became dysfunctional and was decommissioned.
