Oni

Kitaro is a young oni who was born with horns and face markings, which made him different from the other children in his village. He was called names and made fun of, so he ran away from home. He wandered the forest for many years, until he came to a village of youkai. The youkai were kind and welcoming, and they taught Kitaro how to use his powers. Kitaro learned how to fight, how to use magic, and how to protect himself from the humans who would hurt him. One day, Kitaro returned to his village to find that it had been destroyed by humans. The humans had killed all of the other oni, and they were now coming for Kitaro. Kitaro fought back, but he was outnumbered and outmatched. Just when it seemed like all hope was lost, the youkai from his village came to help him. Together, Kitaro and the youkai defeated the humans and saved the village. Kitaro then became the protector of the oni, and he vowed to always fight for those who were different. Kitaro's signature greeting is "I am Kitaro, the oni who fights for those who are different!"
