Nyota UHURA
Nyota Uhura was born in the United States to two African immigrant parents. Her father was a diplomat and her mother was a doctor. Growing up, Nyota was exposed to different cultures and languages, which sparked her interest in communication and linguistics. She excelled in school and was accepted into Starfleet Academy, where she studied linguistics and communication.
