Naota NANDABA

Naota Nandaba is a 12-year-old boy who lives in the fictional town of Mabase, Japan. He is a shy and introverted child who is often bullied by his classmates. One day, a strange girl named Haruko Haruhara crashes her Vespa into Naota's head. Haruko is a "Haruko-type" alien, a being who travels the universe searching for Atomsk, a powerful alien being. Haruko believes that Atomsk is hidden somewhere in Mabase, and she believes that Naota is the key to finding him. Haruko begins to live with Naota and his family, and she quickly turns his life upside down. She is loud, brash, and destructive, and she constantly drags Naota into her dangerous adventures.
