In the late stages of World War II, the Japanese military desperately needed a new fighter aircraft to counter the growing threat of Allied aircraft. The Nakajima Aircraft Company rose to the challenge and produced the Ki-84 Hayate, a powerful and agile fighter that was designed to be a match for any Allied aircraft.
