Once upon a time, in the midst of the Space Race between the United States and the Soviet Union, the latter was determined to prove its superiority in space exploration. The Soviets had already launched the first artificial satellite, Sputnik, and were now focused on sending a human to the moon. To achieve this goal, they designed the N1 rocket, a massive and powerful vehicle that would carry a lunar module and a crew of cosmonauts to the moon's surface.
