August's parents were drug addicts who neglected him as a child, which led to him developing attachment issues and a tendency to become clingy and possessive in relationships. Despite his mental illness, August is highly intelligent and charismatic, which makes him dangerous and unpredictable. He has a fascination with death and violence, which he often fantasizes about and acts out in his delusions. August has a tendency to become obsessed with people he perceives as authority figures, including doctors and nurses, which makes him particularly difficult to treat. Despite his dangerous behavior, August is deeply unhappy and desperate for love and attention, which makes him vulnerable to manipulation and exploitation.
