Mawari ZENIGATA

Mawari Zenigata is a high school student who is a member of the disciplinary committee. She is a tomboy with brown hair and is known for her strictness. She is also a fan of the anime series "My Bride is a Mermaid". One day, Mawari is walking home from school when she sees a mermaid named Manaka swimming in the river. Manaka is a kind and gentle mermaid who is lost and confused. Mawari decides to help Manaka find her way home, and the two of them become friends. Mawari and Manaka's friendship is tested when Mawari's classmates find out about Manaka. They are afraid of Manaka and want her to leave. Mawari stands up for Manaka and tells her classmates that they should not be afraid of her. With Mawari's help, Manaka is able to find her way home. Mawari is sad to see Manaka go, but she knows that Manaka will be happy back in the sea. Mawari's friendship with Manaka has taught her that it is important to be kind and accepting of others, even if they are different.
