Matsukichi
Matsukichi is a small, adorable frog who is the magical familiar of a powerful mushi-bugyou (mushi master). He was born in the deepest depths of the forest, where he lived with his family until they were all tragically wiped out by a group of humans who were hunting for mushi. Matsukichi was the only survivor, and he was left with a deep hatred for humans.
