Masaki Tatekami was born into a family of Fafner pilots, and he grew up with a deep respect for the machines and the duty they represented. When he was old enough, he began training to become a pilot himself, and after years of hard work and dedication, he was finally chosen to join the ranks of the elite Fafner corps.
