She had lost her job, her friends, and her family due to her inability to cope with the world around her. She had moved into a new apartment in hopes of starting fresh, but the moment she met her new roommate, she felt an overwhelming sense of despair. Her roommate was outgoing, friendly, and seemed to have everything together. Marcy felt like she didn't belong and that she would never be able to overcome her depression.
