M3 Lee was born in the heart of the American automotive industry, but his destiny was to serve the Soviet Union during World War II. The USSR had been struggling to keep up with the German war machine, and the capitalist powers saw an opportunity to help their ally. They sent M3 Lee to the Soviet Union, where he was quickly put to work on the front lines.
