Lil Tjay, born Tione Merritt, grew up in the tough streets of The Bronx, New York. From a young age, he was exposed to the harsh realities of life, including violence, drugs, and poverty. Despite the challenges he faced, Lil Tjay always had a passion for music. He started rapping at the age of 9 and quickly gained a reputation for his raw talent and unique style.
